Almost exactly a year later I will update this progress log!

Honestly I am finding some of the topic of my original post funny now looking back, as I shared some personal details, but I suppose that’s ok.

Updates: I did end my job and return to playing full time this year and I grinded a lot. I played roughly 90% volume at PLO200 and switched all of that volume to 5 card.

Unfortunately I don’t have results to share because much of those hands were on apps that ban emulators and tracking. However, I recently switched back to entirely GG and the games on GG are also decent enough. So I could share results from GG only. (Although I’m running like 5k under ev on gg I don’t want that to seem like a bad beat complaint lol)

I have moved up to PLO500 in some capacity however due to table availability I play most at 200. So far I only have less than 20k hands at PLO500 5 card on GG though. I’ve run very well at PLO500 and Recently I had a nice tournament score which has helped for more shots comfortably.

Plo 5 card has been amazing. The preflop workshops on this site were very helpful and instantly plugged leaks. Full disclosure I used preflopwhiz (from Nick Frame) to dive deeper as I didn’t know much about plotrainer, maybe I need to sub plotrainer and check it out 🙂

To answer your question @adelaney I am in Vietnam. I find it very awesome in most ways, I have a very nice 2 br apartment in the capital city for ~550 USD/month. (Something that might cost many thousands of € in a majorEuropean city or many thousands of $ in a us city. I would suggest Southeast Asia to those it makes sense for and those who can adapt to different cultures. Thailand and Malaysia are likely better for western expats.

Do I need to apply to Black Card if I am a former VIP Rewards Member?

All VIP Rewards members were automatically enrolled in the Black Card program and don’t need to apply again.

Welcome, you are in!
