Hi all! My name is Raphaël, I am 34 years old and poker professional since 2011.

My main game is nl holdem sng and mtts. 2 years ago i started playing PLO cash and some mtts for fun and learn a new game. I really enjoy it, studied preflop ranges and had ok result at low stakes but didnt took it to the next level.

    Now is the time.

I will still put a lot of volume playing holdem sng and mtts since its a stable source of income for me and my family.

Most of my study time will be on PLO. I will start at plo50 since I am almost certain i can beat that level already. I am not sure how many hands per day i want to put in yet, but il put 1-2h of study every morning. Then train physically and start the grind. This might take me more than 10 weeks because I also have a family life ( i have 3 daughters), but il put max effort into establishing routines and preparation.

I just bought a new monster computer so i can track and record my session/maybe stream. I am very excited to learn and explore this great game. I hope to crush plo100 by the end of the year.

    GLA!

5 days into 10 weeks transformation. I love how we are creating that winning powerful mindset! Solidifing areas I havent touch enought lately. I have a loooot to improve regarding sleep and diet particulary. I will start with experimenting the 16/8 fasting method. First meal at 12PM and last meal by 8PM. Fasting from 8PM to 12PM and starting tonight! Its 6PM here so il take my last meal right away. Il do it from today to august 20th and see How i feel, if i integrate or dismiss.

    Lets do this!

Cool! The diet had been quite easy to follow so far…well i drank one beer with my best friend that i rarely see. It was worth it and was a very good IPA that he made himself :). I feel more energy while playing which is kinda crazy to my mind haha. Gonna need to start physical training very soon regulary. I play tennis golf and hockey and i might do something like insanity. Will see.

Poker wise, very good results at holdem lately which is always nice. More PLO related, i have to say that getting deeper into theory, ranges, strategy make me falling in love slowly with the game. So much to thing about and so different than holdem which stimulate me a lot. Iv been studying with the PLO trainer and i am amaze of some ranges. BB vs EP folding KK74ss, i was shocked.

Q: At which % opening RFI EP need to be to make that kind of hand a +EV defend

I will continue to work on my mindset, plo ranges and probably put more volume very soon to slowly build some sort of sample to look into my stats and see my leaks. I will continue the transformation and use PLO trainer a ton.

Have a good day all GL

Hi! Iv been putting a lot of hours of study and plan to continue every day :). I love this game and i love how the site is well structured to learn. I have gain a lot of confidence and plugged a lot of leaks that i had. Iv been putting a little bit of volume but nothing reliable yet. I have played around 4k hands at plo25 , 9k at plo50 and 3k at plo100. Results are great so far and iv been running good overall. I spot more and more weaker players and questionable plays which i was unable to see before so i think this is a good sign also. I enjoy the game a lot and its not hard to study a ton ! Il try to put my graphs, glgl to all!

Here is my 15k hands in a mix of PLO25-50-100 since i started de PLO transformation. Its really a transformation for me as i play for a living in holdem sng/mtt since close 10 years haha. I still play holdem to assure monthly profits but i will probably increase my plo volume soon. In the meantime i study a lot. I want to move up as fast as possible so learning is the priority at the moment. A good 1st month overall!
