Didnt really want to do this as I’ve never wrote a post before, but I wanted to challenge myself as I take on this PLO journey.

Played some NLH previously 8 years ago (which means nothing) and now getting into PLO.

The reason why Im starting to play PLO is to make/save additional money to get married in the next year or two. My current job is decent but it never seems enough 😅

A lot has changed since my last attempt at playing poker 8 years ago; mental health, bank roll, and life in general. Im hoping I can stay disciplined, continue to put the hours that I have in and get better each day. Starting off at 25nl while taking stabs at 50nl as I continue to improve. I cant seem to apply the material im learning consistently when I play.. Currently debating if I should stay at 25nl until I can fix my leaks more and spend more time reviewing….

Im looking forward to posting my progress as I take on this journey and monitor my growth.

Thanks @sekki24 first of all for coming out of your comfort zone and creating a progress log!

    Welcome to the community 🙂

Let’s hope we can get you on the path to saving up for that wedding in the future!

I’d say if your main thing at the moment is having difficulty applying everything consistently in game there’s no harm in staying at PLO25 for a bit longer so you can continue to fix leaks and review, taking some shots here and there at PLO50 is fine but if you don’t want to fully move up yet it’s good to keep setting aside a few buy ins to shot at plo50 whilst continuing to learn and apply things at PLO50

I look forward to reading more updates from you in the future, and if you ever require any assistance with anything or have any questions never hesitate to reach out to me 🙂

a week in… wanted to try to keep consistent and post.

This weeks been crazy for me as its the end of the monthin sales and with all thats been going on with the stonk market…. didnt get to study as much as I would have liked unfortunately…

I kept making mistakes and felt that i was missing a lot of information to continue, so I bought Jnandez’s book and read some pages along with the training program..

Although I feel like Im getting better, still have too many leaks that I need to fix to beat PL50… but I decided to keep taking shots at 50PLO instead of 25..
