    Hello everyone !

    My name is Mate, I’m 26 and I work at the local post office as a postman (with bicycle). Mostly I enjoy doing it and it’s also kind of a working out while doing my job which I love about it.

    I’m a complete PLO beginner. I used to play NLH so far with mediocre success but I do not enjoy it enough. I’m never been this motivated since years but I know this is not enough for the success. This is just one thing from the whole.

    Vision statement : I’m a successful part-time poker player winning at PLO200 making a significant income while enjoying the game and still be very passionate about it.

    <b style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; background-color: rgb(55, 55, 55);”>My purpose : I want to improve every day on as many aspects of my life as I can and poker forces me to do so if I want to be a successful player. Also the money income would open up some opportunities and speed up my money income progress like buying an apartment which is my first goal.

    <b style=”font-weight: bold;”>Milestones :
    <ul style=””>

  • beating PLO2 over a decent sample
  • putting in 2-3 hours of work into my poker skills on a daily basis
  • rewarding myself when I feel my hard work paid off in any aspect
  • making my own conditions just a bit better every day
  • Let the journey begin !
    First of all I will not play hands until I’m somewhat confident about my preflop skills in PLO.
    I will keep posting graphs, thoughts and sum up what I successfully changed in my life to be a better player. I plan to post at least monthly, will see how it works out.

    See you guys soon and have a nice day ! 🙂

      Hey man welcome and good luck on your journey, i just started myself comming from NLH also :D.

      Especially when your starting out on the micros (at least from what ive seen so far) your going to be multiway a LOT. So really try to understand which part of the ranges is relying on folds to become playable and which part does better in multiway environments. Same for the 3bet ranges.

      Best of luck and dont forget to have fun 😀

        Thanks for your thoughts, I will count with that and to be honest with you, I’m not shocked about limping and calling a lot on micros 😀 I’m a bit confused about how complex Omaha is at the moment compared to NLH but we will work on it 😉 Good luck to you at the tables as well ^^
