Hello everybody. Brand new to Plo Mastermind.

My name is Dejan, I’m coming from Slovenia.

Always played holdem, mainly sngs and mtts. My site was pokerstars, played over 100k games there. I started out alone, later on got me my first coach and at the end i was with SNG mentors. Had some MTT wins on small stakes, so nothing life changing really. My biggest problem was always tilt… I played 20+ tables at once and still found time to get angry at the desk… With age i got cooler and calmer but guess there’s still a lot of room to improve. I kind of “lost” my game at the end, nothing worked anymore, life got in the way and last few years I played only to kill time and have some fun.

As everybody I ofc stumbled upon Omaha. I just played, made no notes, didn’t work on my game, nothing. I was/am as Fernando says in his YT videos – a recreational player 😛

I hope you accept ppl who have nothing to show really before they join.

And the videos: watched one, then another one, etc. it got me thinking: “wow, i make almost everything wrong here 😀 “

So I joined here. Have lots of experience in poker but none in omaha. Ready to learn and improve.

Never too old to start learning, right? I’m 37 btw

I have one goal in the beginning. Do the course, read the books which I already ordered and just improve as time goes by. At the end – when ever that wil be – I’ll see if I’m cut out for this or not. I wouldn’t decide to do this if I didn’t believe so.

Currently playing at PP, would you all suggest something else?

Fitnes, diet and sleep are no problem for me. I’m lucky not to take things to bed so I sleep well. Visiting gym and doing other sports since forever. There are obstacles ofc but I’m ready to overcome them.

Anything else I forgot to share? May be…

Hope I wasn’t too long. So if you’ll take me I’m ready to be the best I can be.

    Cheers

    Hey @kriminalec

Welcome on board the PLO Mastermind and welcome to the community, great to have you apart of it 🙂

Oh we accept players of all levels, having ‘nothing to show’ before they join is nothing to be bothered about, if anything in a way that is better as you have not instilled any bad habits so you’re ready to learn and take everything in!

Regarding sites to play on I would definitely recommend contacting @tomsmeets he is the main man when it comes to finding the best sites for you in terms of player pools, rewards (rakeback etc) but partypoker is a good place to start 🙂

Best of luck with everything and I look forward to your future updates regarding your progress!

    Hey Dejan,

What stakes are you currently playing? Depending on the stakes you’re playing I might suggest something else Wink If you’re playing PLO100 and up Partypoker is a decent option for sure, playing lower stakes there might be better alternatives.

    Hey there!

Thank you for taking me in! 🙂

I play plo50 1 or 2 tables at the moment as I’m slowly finishing 3rd week of my transformation. Trying to implement what I learn from the videos.

I made an acc at Natural8. Have ps acc aswell but those chests there annoy the shit out of me 🙂

    Anything better out there?
