My PLO MTT journey

    Hi,

I am Martin. I studied mathematics and after graduating I worked in research for two years. Both occupations have not been easy, however, now that I try to play poker for a living, I really came to know how a hard endeavor looks like. 😀

My Vision is to play and study PLO with a consistent win rate that allows me to stay away from mental prostitution and earn at least the amount of money I would earn in a “normal” job.

My Purpose for that track is to give me both Freedom and Challenge. The Freedom that comes with being self-employed and the Challenge that arises from the pursuit to play poker professionally in areas such as motivation, mental clarity, strategical and tactical decision-making.

My first Milestone (or rather goal) is to earn $10,000 within the rest of 2020 playing PLO MTTs. If I could achieve that, it would give me the confidence to fully go for it. If I can at least collect a decent win of $1,000 or more I would give it a try for another three months.

    Cheers

    Hey Martin,

Welcome to the PLO Mastermind and the community 🙂

Let’s hope we can help keep you away from the ‘mental prostitution’ 😂

What made you decide to focus on PLO MTTs?

Best of luck and look forward to following along and seeing you put up some big scores in the tourneys.
