    Hi all,

Let me introduce myself first. I have been playing poker seriously for about 5-6 years (when I was abt 16/17 years old I started playing) and have been doing well in both cash and mtt’s. I also used to be a coach for pokerstrategy.com. I’m 26 now, after a break from poker for about 3/4 years I’m back at it. When I used to be younger I wanted to become a professional really really bad, and did everything to become one. I think this is what made me feel kinda burned out on the game and eventually I lost all fun playing. I was done with NLHE and was looking for another challenge, always loved the great game of plo and now we are actually playing it. Without any experience or whatsoever I deposited my first $250 to play some PLO10 (Iknow bankrollwise this could never be good but I was ready to re-deposit. I started my challenge in February and quickly ran it up at PLO10 towards a bankroll of $1000+ Obviously I was running quite well back then but I felt like I was learning a lot aswell in the mastermind. Currently I’m playing PLO25 with a healthy roll. I try to actively study PLO almost on a daily basis. I attached my PLO25 chart to my post (Rush & cash only) Currently at about 7.7Allin adj bb/100. I have been thinking about this and want to implement this, I should really tableselect more and play more regular tables, should improve my winrate drastically. Obviously not super crushing after this sample but I’m winning so that’s good. Right now I think my biggest leaks are playing OOP (and barreling or not?) and calling down too many rivers and not giving people enough credit. Lately I do feel like I have been a bit unlucky, especially being card dead over multiple thousands of hands. But hey, this is something I will have to get used to when I want to play plo as the swings will be bigger. I’m looking forward to share hands and post my progression throughout the coming months/years to come. I learn something new almost on a daily basis right now and I would like to see myself crushing atleast PLO50 before the end of the year. Let’s crush this game fellow masterminds!

Hi Geomo, yes this is Rush & cash PLO25 only.

I dont think the 25PLO playerpool is that good, i just think its very hard to win after paying rake (obviously im not super crushing the stake). Even for some of the best of us. I have started playing PLO50 last week but got sick yesterday, hopefully i feel better tomorrow and will be able to play again. I will update this blog as soon as i hit my first 25k hands @ PLO50 again. In the meantime trying to study as much as possible.

Stay crushing everyone, as long as you dont crush me 🙂

Yeah think rake is really hard to beat on r&c, have run last 70k at -3 bb/100 After rake and close to breakeven After first 60k but last week was horrible to me! My graph is close to yours . Already played on plo50 and best success i have is to be breakeven only on a 20k sample and After crash to -6bb/100! Have to work a lot to improve… If you want, you Can my Twitch Channel mogeo1986 and m’y discord group to discuss hands or other (mental aspect…) Or i you already have a group let me know to join it. Glgl and waiting for you next graph!

It will be hard, but definitely not impossible. This is something that I have learned over the last years in my life. Never give up on something you truly want, if you can dream it you can do it! We just gotta keep on grinding and studying 🙂

As for this week, my family got the news my dad is diagnosed with cancer, it hasn’t spread so that’s definitely a good sign. Doctor said it’s treatable but I feel like it’s still always a lottery..

Not sure how many hands I’ll be playing coming weeks / months as I will problaly spend a lot of time with family.

Will still try and keep this blog updated every once in a while.

    Cheers everyone!
