I figured i would share my results from last year. My volume is not where I would like it to be but 2020 was a different kind of year. All my results are from live PLO $5/5

    Nice job!

What kind of plans do you have for this year?

I have I few questions regarding these as I really haven’t been able to play live PLO. What kinds of winrates would you estimate to be possible at 1/2, 5/5 and 5/10? Also how hard do you think the games are compared to online?

    Cheers!

Hello @payoffwiz , how are you doing today?
So, my top goal in poker for this year is to increase my volume by at least double. My first attempt to do this was that I challenged all the regs in the game i play to a phil galfond type hu challenge. I offered to play anyone heads up for 2 hours and offered a side bet for the winner, and I gave 2-1 odds.
To answerer your questions about live plo. Live plo is way softer then online. First thing I believe a win rate in some live games could be as high as 50bb/hr which is i am guessing about 20bb/100 if the dealers are good, but i probably average around 15bb/hr (I am not that good lol). The biggest difference (in my opinion) between live and online poker is multi way pots. Most live games i have played, 3-bet pots and a fair amount of 4-bet pots are going to the flop with at least two other players. So you have a lot of 3 and 4 way flops with low spr’s. That said, if you have a strong pre flop game, you should easily be a big winner at most if not all low stakes live games.

    Good luck this year @slzemf

2020 was indeed a different kind of year especially for live poker so all in all to get 56 sessions in is nice based on the circumstances.

Lets hope 2021 can start to turn around soon and we can get back to normal!

Good luck this year and hope you crush it both in volume and profit!
