Hello, my name is Miiko and I just started the 10 week transformation. I’ve been a poker dealer for about 3,5 years now, and I love the game. I haven’t actually studied anything before signing up for mastermind so at the moment I’m a slightly losing player in micro stakes. I love my job but the wage is pretty bad and that’s why I want to become a professional poker player. I’m so excited doing the courses because I keep learning new things every day and I feel very motivated. I got laid off of work because of covid so now I have about 10h everyday to use for studying poker.
Vision statement: I’m a professional poker player playing online cash games and some of the big tournaments.
Purpose statement: I play poker for the love of the game and the motivation to learn more and more about the game. Learning new things everyday keeps me excited to do more and more courses and plo trainer training sessions.
Milestones:
-Become a winning player in PLO100
-Become a winning player in PLO200
-Save enough money so I can buy my own apartment and don’t have to rent anymore.

Apologies I missed your progress log first time round. Welcome to the community 🙂
Sorry to hear that you were laid off due to covid, it’s been a rough year, hopefully we’ll start to see the light at the end of the tunnel soon.
Do you think you’ll get back into poker dealing once things are back to normal or is the plan by that point to hopefully be at a stage where you can comfortably live purely off poker and put 100% focus and attention into it on a daily basis?

I think I will still go back to dealing for at least a few months to build a decent bankroll that can handle downswings. I have studied about 5h every day and started playing plo25 and plo50 and I’m pretty much breaking even. I still make some very stupid mistakes but I keep learning from them, so I think I have a real shot at becoming a winning player in plo50 in the next few weeks/months.
