    Yo guys what’s up?

    my name is Ron. I’m a 28 yo from Israel.

    in the last 4-5 years(during university) I played NLHE, mostly mtts and was pretty profitable.

    holdem is getting harder every year, and I thought it’s the right time to learn another game that probably will be more profitable, and maybe even more fun.

    I have a 9 to 5 job and live with my girlfriend, so it’s pretty hard to be a real grinder. Despite this fact, poker is a big passion of mine. i don’t think it will turn to a full time job for me, but I want it will be a 2nd income and a big hobby.

    for this purpose i will try to be the best player I can be under those constrains.

    I joind to this course and community about a week ago. during this week i finished:

    * the launchpad course

    * started the 10w PLO transformation – right now on W3.6

    * start using the freplop helper and learn some RFI ranges (mostly UTG)

    Goals:

    – Be the best PLO player I can be – that means i will invest 10-15h weekly, in ratio of 3:1 between learining and playing

    – Be a profitable player on PLO 100

    – Learn the theory of PLO mtts for crushing my games (homegames and GG’s mtts

    – Have a lot of fun and meet some new friends

    I’ve never played even 1 PLO hands so it’s going to be interesting 🙂

    Milestones:

    – 100h spent for learning

    – play my first ever PLO session (start with 1-2 table of PLO 10 – probably will happen in next week!)

    – finish 10w PLO transformation

    – get out of PLO 10

    – get out of PLO 25

    – get out of PLO 50

    – To be continue…

    thanks for reading guys, will be happy for some advices or just greeting comment!

    @JNandez @funkarello thanks for your comments guys!

    so let’s Summarize this week

    this was pretty interseting week!

    i continued with the 10w PLO transformation – right now on W5.7 and must say that it’s damn interesting! loved the range training video and the postflop cbet training review. tons of value on those thing, especially on understading how to study and work with the tools.

    @JNandez I have 1 question though:

    on W5.4 you said that on flop Ks6d5s Kc6cKhQh the higher EV is in x/c, and in the following quiz, it said that KcKh2c2h is a clear x/r. the diffrent is because when we have the 6 we block villans set of 6 that we want to get value from by x/r?

    moreover, I got backed to gym routine so fell pretty awesome about that.

    the mental tools I learned this week also pretty nice. I’m going to give a shot on planning my week with the google Calendar for be productive as i can.

    last thing to mention is the PLO Mastermind Q&A. really nice stream bu @luuk and @shuller-a1t . I had a lot of fun watching it and got so much value! (as an israeli, we have to get the maximum value from things we pay for them)

    next week going to be pretty busy, but I schedule some things in my google calendar:

    – 4 sessions of 1-1.5h of PLO Study

    – 3 gym days (home training, damn u covid)

    – first session of PLO 10! going to be exciting, will play on WPN/GGnetwork on Thursday – 2 tables for 3h (with breaks of 5-10m each hour)

    have a nice weekend guys!

    will probably update this blog once a week, unless there’s something interesting to tell about

    @JNandez and @funkarello – thanks for your comments!

    it’s time for a quick weekly summary

    1) studying is going pretty well. I reached W5.7 in the 10w PLO transformation. Loved the training videos that teach how to use the tools for analysis, and the quizzes of flop ranges are so helpful!

    Moreover, I watched the PLO MasterMind Q&A with @shuller-a1t and @luuk . it was pure value! (and as an israeli it’s awesome for me – we tend to maximize the value from things we pay for lol)

    @JNandez – I have a question about something I saw on W6.4:

    on Ks6d5s you said we should x/c KcKhQh6c and on the following quiz we should x/r KcKh2c2h on the same flop. What is the difference? Is it because we block the set of 6 in the first hand? (a major hand to get full value from)

    2) I got back to the workout routine! not that easy after 3 month without doing much, start pretty slowly with some low weights and easy aerobic, will improve in that area soon

    3) The mentals tools on this course are amazing. definitely going to take a shot on planning my time with google calendar. I think it will make me more productive and will help me to get to my goals.

    next week is going to be a little busy with some plans, but those are the thing I schedule:

    – 3 workouts of 1h – aerobic and anaerobic

    -4 sessions of PLO study – each of them around 1-1.5h – continuing with the 10w course, some deep learning (starting with preflop ranges) as maybe study how to work with the plo trainer (if not this week – on next week for sure)

    -1 PLO session – my first PLO session 🙂 going to play 10NL on WPN/GGnetwork – 2 tables for 3h with breaks

    this is for now. I guess I will update it on a weekly basis, unless I’ll have something interesting to share or ask.

    have a nice week u all!
