Hi, my name is Gerardo
Hello!! My name is Gerardo and I am from Mexico. I’m the Senior Writer for POKERnosUNE, the biggest poker news site in the country and I’ve playing PLO for almost two years. While playing live PLO has been incredible, playing online has been quite a nightmare.
I’m currently taking the 10 Week course and mixing it with the CSS course. I also bought both books by Jared Tendler as recommended. So far I’ve noticed that I was playing too many hands and calling a lot of 3 bets OOP so I can say that it’s been an enlightening experience.
My goals are of course become a regular PLO player while working on my mental game. I’ve been struggling with anxiety for a few years now and I’m better but I have to work in some issues. I have a one year old baby and my sleeping is not the best. I used to play football but broke my knee, since then I’ve gained a lot of weight so I am also trying to eat better. So far I’ve lost 20 kilos but need to lose at least 20 more.
Another issue is that I am currently playing in GGPoker and apps like Poker Bros and PPPoker. The rakeback (I’m getting around 40%-80%) is great but when it comes to study the fact that I can’t review my hands is something I need to figure out.
As I am a journalist, I am also a translator so if anybody speaks Spanish and is struggling with the course I will gladly help.
Goals:
-Have a bankroll for PLO100
-Study
-Better sleep
-Meditate everyday at least 10 minutes.
-Eat healthier
-Walk at least 1.5 kms everyday.Hope to see you around.
