    Hi guys,

I’m Mirin, completely beginner PLO player.

Please be patient with my terrible English.

I’ve played NLHE for years, but I can’t crush NL25z hence I was losing my passion for poker.

I recently tried playing PLO for the fist time.

My hand was like “AsAcTh9d” and board was like “KsJs7s5c2s” and then jammed on the river and get called.

But chips didn’t come to me.

I could not understand what was happening at that time. lol

After that I learned rules and some concepts like “wraps” “rundowns”

And then I started PLO5zoom on stars.

I thought I’ve regained my passion for poker and I want to learn PLO seriously.

There are two reasons that I made a choice PLO Mastermind.

    1. I was looking for a comprehensive PLO course.

    2. I’ve watched JNandez and Luuk’s Youtube Channel ever.(of course already subbed)

They speak clearly and not fast, so I can manage to understand even I am not good at English. (well, I still need repetition.)

I’m overwhelmed by the huge amount of content.

But I will do little by little.

My short term goal is crushing PLO5z

But I may play on GGPoker.

To be honest I don’t know how long my passion for PLO will last.

But I want to succeed in poker, so I’ll start this blog as part of that.

Anyway, I will do my best!

    Thank you for reading.

    Progress Report

    Done

    The launchpad

    1. The Pod Odds Fallacy
    2. Calibration
    3. Preflop Sizing

Take notes of all the videos.

Stop playing until finishing the launchpad.

By the way, It’s fun to challenge quizzes after watching videos.

But when I click the link, jump to old site(?) and required re-login.

So I’m manually searching for a quiz.

    I felt a little inconvenient.Sweat Smile

Welcome Mirin to the community and the PLO Mastermind great to have you on board!

To begin with i’d check out the following road map: https://support.plomastermind.com/article/72-small-stakes-plo-roadmap this should help provide you with a direction to take in regards to the content 🙂 (regarding the quizzes attached to these videos directing to old site this should now be fixed and they’re located under each video now)

What stakes are you starting out with?

Best of luck and look forward to following along!

    Doing

    • 10W PLO transformaition : W1-1

It’s long over 50min, so I plan to finish next day.<div>

I also read “Bankroll management guide” and then am interested in playing in GGnetwork. But some matters of concern.

    • PVI rake system is unpredictable.
    • Even rake Preflop. It affects 3bet strategy. I think it confuses beginners like me.
    • Pokercraft doesn’t take rake in consideration. It’s not only inconvenient but also makes it difficult to measure my ability.

But there are many PLO tables and many high vpip players. It’s so attractive..</div>

Hey Mirin, first of all, I’d like to say that your English seems pretty good! Whilst I’m learning a lot too, if there’s anything I can help with or you’d like to analyse some sessions together, I’d be more than happy to do so

    Progress Log (15 – 21 , June)

    • Play : 4H
    • Study : 17H
    • PLO 10W Transformation : W5.7 SRP IP Turn Strategy (Theory & Training)
    • PLO Trainer : RFI each Position

I feel the playing is better compared to last month. But the playing time is too short, so I need to increase it more. this is an important issue. the reason is that I want to play only when I feel good. Now I have a variety of problems, that makes me playing less.

I played PLO10z last month. The result was not very good.

I started to play on GGnetwork this month but I may return to Stars because there are too many MW pot even though I’ve not studied MW pot yet.

In addition, I think playing zoom table will make me a better player faster than playing regular table. because I can play much more hands even 1or2tables and focus on tables than regular table.

About 10W PLO transformation, Week6 is ongoing. I feel it became difficult suddenly from W6. for that reason, I went back to W5 and started over. I think one of the reason is I don’t understand SRP very well yet. After that I’ll try W6 again!!

I would be happy if anyone could give me an opinion about the regular table and zoom table I wrote down.
