Introduction: My name is Eric. I am a 43 year old Physical Education Teacher who is married with a daughter. I am absolutely obsessed with poker and improving my game in every aspect. I have been playing poker for the past 15 years and over the past 3 years have taken it very seriously. In the past 3 years I have made $10,000, $12,000, and $35,000(so far) this year. My goal is to pay off some large bills over the next X amount of years so I can comfortably retire early and play poker for a living.
Vision: “I am a successful part-time poker player who enjoys playing on poker apps and live poker almost daily while improving my game through study.”
Purpose: “Poker has allowed my family luxuries it otherwise would not have. As a teacher I do not have the largest income. This obsession with the game has allowed me to earn money for my family through something I really enjoy. Some day in the next few years I will be retiring and playing full time.”
Milestones:
Finish 10 Week PLO Course
Win $6,000 prior to the end of the year to hit my $40k year goal while having at least half of that come from .50-1 PLO.
Make progress yearly on poker income without increasing volume too much more then currently putting in.
Pay off daughters college fund and house.
Retire from teaching and play full time.
