    Hey everyone,

My name is Berrnny and I am very excited about learning this crazy game we call PLO. I have been playing PLO online for about 2 years or so and I will say that I am not a winning player just yet, but I have not taken my game seriously until this year. I reached out to a top player online that expressed how much knowledge and progress he gained through the Mastermind journey. I enjoy poker for the strategy/puzzle aspect of the game and am looking to improve my game to become a full time crusher. I currently work full time so the amount of time I can devote to playing/studying is not ideal.

    Vision Statement:

I am a full time winning PLO poker player that has the freedom to pursue other interests (playing instruments/traveling the world) and is consistently working on getting better in not just PLO but other game formats as well.

    Purpose Statement:

I love this game of poker and am looking to improve on every aspect of my game, both tactically and mentally. I hope to one day be able to play with the best players in the world and hold my own and be considered a peer among the elites. I also hope to gain a better mental focus, discipline and greater understanding of myself that I can carry over to other aspects of my life (creating new relationships, becoming healthier, and trying new things),

    Milestones:

    1. Play a large volume of hands (150k – 300k) across plo100/200 to gain an accurate assessment of win rate.

    2. Play about 20 hours a week (accomplished through my 2 days off from work)

    3. Study one to two hours a day after coming home from work, which amounts to about 10 hours a week.

    4. Maintain discipline with bankroll management.

    5. Gain knowledge of thought process/emotions when on tilt so that I can work on improving it. Gain a greater understanding of mental game of poker.

    6. Join in Mastermind community discussions to gain different perspectives on the game.

    7. Reach a 60k bankroll.

    8. Work my way through 10 week transformation.

    9. Create a solid foundation for my plo game.

    10. Record my sessions and review hands with community/poker friends.

I am sure there are more milestones for me, but as of right now, this is what comes to mind.

      Hey Ash,

Thank you for the reply. I have been enjoying the 10 week transformation. I also have been listening to some mental game of poker videos/podcasts that have been extremely helpful. Currently, I am playing on Global poker and I have come across a dilemma. With GP, they do not allow any trackers such as PT4 or HM3, which makes it very difficult for me to get an understanding of my win rate. I currently am focused on PLO 200 and 100 and I am trying to gather a big enough sample size to determine my win rate at these stakes. I have talked to a few other players about what would constitute a large enough sample size and the consensus seems to be between 150k and 300k hands. I would like to know your opinion on this sample size and also your opinion on how I can accurately track my results to understand my win rate. I appreciate any feedback that you can provide. Thanks Ash.
