Introduction :
Hi I’m Patrick from Ireland, I played No limit cash games professionally for 8 years. I played online then transitioned to live cash games eventually spending most of my time grinding cash games in Vegas. I had very little discipline in games and life so had pretty wild swings in both. I moved home got a job in manufacturing, started playing sport and became a football manager of a local team. This environment really changed my life, I got a lot more organized, created a social circle and started to think a lot more analytical about things. We lost my cousin last year at a young age unexpectedly and it really shook my life. I decided I was going to commit to becoming the best version of myself. I was always a skinny guy, I hired a personal trainer and a nutritionist. I transformed my body adding 5kg of muscle and continue to regularly train. The two year contract with my job ended in August. I have job offers however I decided now is the time to make more changes in my life and attack this with everything. I’ve learned how to be disciplined and coachable . I’ve never played or studied PLO to any real level, I am coming at this with a fresh mindset looking to learn as much as I can
Vision Statement :
I am a successful mid/high stakes PLO cash player online and live. I spend 6 months of the year living in Asia. I am continually improving every day. I travel to play High stakes live cash games
Purpose Statement : I am doing this to create freedom in my life. The time to set my own plans and not be restricted by others. I am doing this to have the best possible life, to build my own home, travel and have the time to have experiences with those I love family and friends. I am doing this to create a healthy lifestyle where I have control of what I eat and how much sleep I get. I am doing this to be free of driving in traffic everyday

Hey Patrick, also from Ireland! Never made it to the high stakes due to similar discipline issues, but also feel the tide is turning there. I’ve been hungry for poker recently and looking to get back in via PLO also.

Thank you, Asia for 6 months is for the lifestyle. Its nice to get out of Ireland during the winter months when there is not much going on
