Up to this point my poker journey has not been very serious at all. I have been playing low stakes NLHE for a couple of years with no success or even tactics behind my game. I just played for fun. However when I started playing my first bit of PLO I realised how much I love the game and would love for it to become a fulltime passion or atleast lead me on a path to financial freedom.
Vision: fulltime online poker player, crushing online stakes 2/5 with ease and travelling the world with my partner. Going to different casinos and poker hotspots but also seeing different sites and beautiful places. All funded by the beautiful game that I have spent years studying and learning.
Purpose: I have always enjoyed poker but never saw it as profitable long term (for myself anyway). However after discovering PLO and playing some myself I realised I have a burning passion inside of me to devote everything I have to the game and become better. I believe it will lead me to a better life not only due to money but mental wellbeing, physical wellbeing and relationships with friends and family.
Milestones:
Consistently profit healthily from low stakes online
A first trip/holiday paid for from poker winnings
Travel to see & play at different casinos globally (Especially Las Vegas)
Play & Win a highstakes poker tournament, either live or online

How have you been finding the content so far/what videos have you started with?
What stakes will you be starting at and what sites if you do not mind me asking?

I’ve stuck straight into the 10 week course. I was planning at first to try and get through it in about 4 weeks but as I am watching the incredibly informative videos I have decided it will be much better to take a slower approach and practice the skills I learn week by week so they become cemented into my gameplay. I have just started on the practical work with RFI ranges & 3 betting ranges so I am deconstructing my own hands and also revising with the PLO Preflop tool and pre flop charts.
At the moment I am literally playing tiny stakes (0.05c/0.10c) but will up gradually as the weeks go on and I feel more comfortable but I am in no rush and want to make sure I am learning everything properly and not rushing to play all the time. I will mainly be playing on pokerstars and GGPoker I imagine unless a new site takes over the poker scene!
