Not much happening so far, except watching the micro videos. For now not enough time to play online. Kiddo has been sick last few days… And @ work there are some troubles, therefore I don’t want to think to much in my free time.

Also I’m broke online and will won’t make a deposit on GG ’till dec 5th. Where I’ll be playing PL2. Either 2 Rush tables or 4 regular tables. In the mean time I’m trying to learn a lot!

Let’s update!

– Continued with the vids.
– Practiced RFI with the PLO trainer in various positions.
– Went better then I thought, SB needs more work.

-Was able to deposit earlier then expected.
-> went ok-ish
-> went WTF??
-> went small tilt (normaly big ones = improvement)
= – 20 buy-ins!

– Played better post flop.
– Smaller pots => no tilt.
= back to -3 buy ins!!
-Many bad beats en big pots result in good GGcare & GGcheers points => + 144C$
– Time wel spent playing many hands, PLO Leaderbord => + 7C$

Will buy HM3 when I have more time / laptop in use is.

I’m not done with the book yet. But it’s hard for me to grasp everything, with all the percentages Passing by… We’re on a small holiday now, in Germany, and I forgot to Bring it with me 🙄

But I did watch some more vids. Practicing hands with the PLOtrainer is for when I’m back home and van use the laptop.

Up until yesterday I was winning my losses back. 2day I just crushed my 2 playing hours, winning 12 buy ins! Used the straddle option on 1 table and it payed off big. Some type off players just ask for it. On another table someone Else was doing the straddling for me and I took advantage of it.

Finished the “Escape the micro’s” lessons. A bit confused by the explenation vs implementation. I know you have to adapt from GTO to exploit the opponents but some moves seemed a bit far fetched/marginal…

Anyway, I was running pretty bad several days and ran very good 1 day. Enough to make some small profit. And more then enough to score big in the GGcheers/GGcare. Came second in one of those = +926 C$

Taking some stabs @PL5 but the players seem a lot tighter + not hitting anything so far. So stuck on a small loss. Mainly losing my rakeback, but still, it sucks. Also tilted a bit, not because of the $$$ lost but sometimes I want to win a 95% favorite hand :p

Hi playing mainly PLO5 now. Played already a bit better then before, but a bit on a bad run several 2 – 3 outers in all in situations. Many 50-50 situations dealt twice, wich I tend to lose twice. Worst one was an all in vs a hand that needed a runner runner. Again dealt it twice, because I lost faith, and f lost both!

So it resulted in a tilt!! Good thing a won a good amount the days before…

Overal the bankroll is the same, but some C$ became real $

Btw, since yesterday GG poker has frozen my account. After hours of contacting them they asked for a citizen registration number. I already provided them with that 2-3 months ago, because I needed it to setup the account anyway. But I send it again…
Now some dude replied on an old mail, regarding a previous account and seems to want me setup a new account again!!! Grrr worst helpdesk ever on GGpoker

Amazingly terrible last 5 days on the pokerfield! in particular last 3 days. Was up against quads 7 times within a few hours on Saturday, p.e. holding KK on TTK flop en T rivers. So yeah, costly.

Sunday was more the day of seconds nuts and losing 50/50 hands and much better on dealing it twice and trice. Worst one was losing with the nutflush draw and set vs straightflush draw and he hits straight flush on both sides!! WTF

So yeah, tilted a bit afterwards, creating bigger loss. Maybe played a bit loose, not helping much either. And continues missing draws and losing aces. Overall I guess I lost 50 buy ins. This sux. Ok, maybe I threw away 5-6 buy ins. But still, losing to so many 3-2 & 1 outers isn’t normal. I need some compensation fast…

Anyway, goals for this year:
– Tilt a lot less
– Acquire HM3
– Learn a lot postflop play with weak/semi weak/semi good hands vs 1 or multiway
– Work my way up to crushing PLO10 and maybe taste some PLO25

Getting the 1 outer inside straight flush draw against, whent holding nut flush and set in a 750BB pot was the drop!!! Yesterday 21 bad beat nominations, says enough I guess…

Hey Kevin,

I am sorry to read that you have been running bad all throughout January and not had the start to the year that you were hoping to.

It can be a sick game at times where it feels like no matter what you do you’re just on the wrong end of things. Unfortunately, in times like this there isn’t much that can be said or you can do other than avoiding tilt during the sessions, taking a short break away from the tables whilst continuing to study just to motivate yourself and keep your morale high knowing that you are playing correctly.

I hope that February will be a better month for you.
