TECHNICAL QUESTIONS
EV difference shows you how much expected value (in big blinds) each action is gaining or losing compared to the GTO optimal play.
Instead of just seeing “this is the right play,” you see “this decision cost you X big blinds.”
It’s one of the most powerful learning tools in the PLO Trainer, because it allows you to see immediately which mistakes are costing you the most, and which hands you should consider for exploits.
Nodelocked sims are GTO solutions where one player’s strategy is locked to a specific (non-GTO) playing style, and the other player’s strategy is optimized to exploit it.
Example:
- Villain is locked to “fold too much to 3-bets”
- Hero’s strategy is solved versus that tendency
This shows you how to adjust against specific opponent types, rather than just playing pure GTO. It helps bridge the gap between theory and practical exploitation.
We’ve recently added our first batch of nodelocked sims, and more are coming!
The PLO Trainer app is browser-based and compatible with all operating systems, just make sure to use one of the major browsers and ensure that it is up to date. Chrome, Safari and Firefox are supported.
Most PLO Trainer features are also mobile-friendly, and it can be installed as an app-shortcut on your phone or tablet. We recommend using Chrome, Safari, or Firefox.
No, you should not use the PLO Trainer whilst playing and running poker sites.
Doing so will result in you receiving a warning from the poker site or worse depending on the terms & conditions a specific site has in place.Â
Please always make sure that you completely close the PLO Trainer prior to opening any poker site to avoid putting your account(s) at risk. Â

Advanced: High Stakes videos and the Championship Collection shows championship-level preparation, play, and analysis. The PLO Trainer has advanced features like EV difference analysis, aggregate reports, equity graphs, etc.
Even if The Championship Collection feels advanced now, you have a full year to build your skills and grow into it. Most members find it becomes more valuable as they improve.
You can login and use the PLO Trainer on two devices at a time, after which you will be automatically logged out from your oldest sign in. Memberships are meant for individual use only and cannot be shared.
Each membership is tied to one person’s account and our upcoming stats and dashboard will track user’s skills and accuracy.
If you want to learn with a friend or study partner, they’ll need their own membership. Sharing login credentials violates our terms of service and may result in account termination.
