Easy: Get PLO Trainer and start studying the sims. This is by far the most effective method if you want to actively study.

Hey Alex,
Nice to read up on your progress and journey. I would love to read more about your live games and the hands / dynamics. I think for live games in general, watching the lower stakes Play and Explains could also be very helpful, as there are many multiway pots and very loose ranges in play.
Anyhow, hope things are working out for you. How are live games during Covid anyways in Canada?
Cheers,
Fernando

I’ve read through some of the “live balance” problems you’ve mentioned above. I’m looking so start a new format for youtube, where I discuss deeper problems with poker players on a call. If you’re willing to do that, we can have a 30 min call discussing your situation. You can remain anonymous of course. Only myself will be on cam.
Let me know if you’re interested. Just hit me up on discord.
Enjoy the weekend with your friends / family.

Hey @plonath – awesome intro! I will be following your journey for sure.
If you ever want to jump on a 30 min call, I would be happy to. We can discuss, how you’re approaching the next couple of months and I might have few pointers and ideas for you. We could even record it, so that other players will benefit as well. Let me know if you’re interested, if so, hit me up on discord 😉
Talk soon, hopefully

Hi Mauro,
Welcome to the PLO Mastermind! Glad to have you on board. Argentina is a beautiful country. I’ve been there multiple times.
Sounds like an interesting and fun journey, to combine psychology and poker. I’m sure you can learn a lot from both areas. If you have any questions about the content or PLO in general, feel free to post them below the videos or here in your progress log.
Good luck at the tables. Looking forward to your next update.
Cheers

Thanks for the update Kenneth,
PATIENCE 🙂 You’re on the right path, just keep a steady routine. Learning, playing and repeating. It won’t happen over night, but you will get closer and closer each day by 1%.

Glad to have you on board here in the PLO Mastermind! Your journey sounds inspiring and exciting. I’m looking forward to see more updates about your travels and experiences (pictures are welcome).
I might look into a portable internet connection, like a USB stick with internet. It can work as a backup plan, in case local internet isn’t stable or available.
I’ve personally found that productivity has a lot to do with stability in your life. Creating and following habits is a lot easier if you’re in the same enviornment all the time. If that’s true, there might be a few challenges out there for you. 🙂
Anyways, I’m really looking forward to see some updates here soon.
All the best
Fernando

Hey Kenneth,
Great to have you on board here in the Mastermind. Looking forward for more updates on your end.
How did you come up with 1L of water a day? I would recommend you up that right away to at least 3L, better 4. The more you drink, the easier it gets to get used to it as well. When you wake up in the morning, just drink 0.5L right away, to hydrate your body and wake yourself up.
Looking forward for continous progress 😉
Good luck

Looks like you’re in a great player pool. Variance will be in your favour at some point and you will start printing $$$, instead of EV.
Keep it up!
