Randomizer Utilization

My question is, when you guys are using randomizers in those spots that could go either way, are you typically going 50/50, or not?

For example, I’ve got top and bottom pair on Q97 and I’m MP v BB. Intuitively my gut tells me we should be cbetting sometimes and checking sometimes. Here it feels like 50/50 is fine, right?

An example of not going 50/50 would be on the river, when I’m bluff catching. Do we set our randomizer to the pot odds we are getting? For example, V bets 100 into 300, we aren’t really sure so we randomize and anything above a 20 we are calling? Does this make sense as a general strategy in those spots where we have hands that are marginal bluff catchers? Then just call without a randomizer in a spot where we have the best bluff catching candidates?

My goal is to implement a strategy that is quick and easy, as I’m often multi-tabling with relatively short time banks. I haven’t used a randomizer much in the past, and I feel like I’m putting too much thought into a process that should be random, if that makes any sense.

I never use a randomizer in plo. I am curious if someone comes out with a good strategy about that. I go whether if im in position or not, and with the hud of vilain (i know now a lot of you don’t have access to huds). And i make errors. I heard once from a very good player (i don’t remember which one) that equilibrium in plo was not such a thing, in opposition in nlhe.

So im very curious to hear from others as you do !

I’ve heard the coaches on MM both say they use and also say they never use.
