Question of Jnandes’ Book

On Page 151 Hand Example 17, Jnandez says “You have medium equity…”

My question is that on this flop AsKdTs, the hand KhQh7s6s has about 63% – 66% equity against BB preflop defense range of 50% – 60%. So, I am confused when such an equity advantage is regarded as “medium”, although I think I understand Jnandez’s rationale to check back.

Here’s another question from the book…

On Page 205, JNandez says that in Hand Example 69, As2s5d2d has “…more equity against hands such as sets and two pairs.” According to my calculation it only has 40% equity against opponent’s that range (e.g. KK,55,66,TT,KT). Do I miss something here?
