How to handle bad beats

I am quite new to PLO and ran into two bad beats yesterday.

Board was 27KQQ. I had KKxx and the other guy had QQxx and I lost a monstor pot. I was down whole night and was just about breakeven at this point. It was devastating. I was in for 4.5 buy ins of $400 and left with 1.24 buy ins after this loss.

I kept my cool and kept on playing and rebuilding the stack back up to 3.5 buy ins. Then again another bad beat.

Board was 83774. I had 88xx and the other guy had 77xx and I lost all my remaining chips of around $1350. IN total lost $1800 at this point.

I think I went on tilt at this point and bought in for another buy in and doubled up and then lost some of it. I was not playing well so decided to quit. I had a loss of $1766 for the session which is around 4 buy-ins.

I was playing good an got my money in when I was ahead by far and got smoked.

I know this is part of variance. What I am looking for is how to deal with it so it does not affect you psychologically in thinking that the poker app is rigged or something of that sort. I kept on thinking that if the first pot went my way I would have been up 3 buy ins and would have quit. Because of tat loss and maniac on table, I kept on playing to recover my money. The maniac lost to all but won against me for the second pot I mentioned earlier.

I will try to keep this in the past but not sure how I analyze this. I do not think I did a mistake except that I played for few minutes after I went on tilt which could have been disastrous.

    Thanks

it sounds so familiar, when a maniac got lucky against you, lose every money to others, but you are the biggest loser of the game, even if you did it right. For the mindset I don’t have the answer, I relate to that only…. Be the force with us !!!!
