    Hi guys and gals,

I have been playing quite a lot at PLO on PartyPoker recently (PLO100, PLO200 and dabbling in PLO500).

However, I have been noticing lately that traffic seems to be getting smaller and smaller.

    I thought it was because I am such a crusher I destroyed everyone’s bankroll (just kidding… πŸ˜‚ )

But really, right now there is 1 table of PLO200 running, and 14 people at FastForward at PLO200, everything else is dead. What’s up with that?

Of course there is more people on at earlier times, but even then there are usually 2-4 full tables of PLO100 to PLO500 and FastForward 100 and 500 is dead. PLO200 has like 30-50 players at other times, but being in Canada I can’t really play at those times. And even if I do, I feel like there are a lot of regs at those times. (Have to go to work 9-5 so I can have money to donk off at the tables πŸ˜„ )

Also, there aren’t many PLO tournaments for me in the $50-$200 range I like to play.

How is GGPoker in terms of traffic at these times (like 18:00 EST to 22:00 EST during the week + anytime on the Weeekend)?

Is the competition tougher or softer at PLO100-PLO200 (and maybe even PLO500)?

    Thanks for all the responses!

    Hi @abhorash !

I guess Partypoker’s traffic is kind of volatile. After removing the leaderboards they lost some traffic (and regs) for sure and weeks after it started picked up again, probably helped by a few promotions.

GGPoker offers traffic 24/7 basically, similar to Pokerstars. They’re competing to take the top spot in terms of action and where GGPoker took over in July, Stars regained first place in August. So it’s probably good to check out the games there for sure as you will find plenty of action to fill up with Party tables or likely even enough to play on GG exclusively.

For the best PLO tournament offer I would also focus on the highest trafficking sites like GGPoker and Pokerstars.

Competition tends to be softer at GGPoker than most other regular sites in general. If you want to learn more about GGPoker I’d recommend reading through the following blog posts:

Given a better rake structure for PLO100 and slightly worse than the market average on PLO200, soft games, rakeback, potential leaderboard money, and Black Card rewards (our affiliate program) on top, it can definitely be a good option for you.
