So I am Not promising that I’m updating this, because I know myself.

I got laid off last week and get 5 months of free income so Am gonna give this PLO playing a shot. My plan is 2 hour study per day getting a little better at GTO each day. I don’t know what it is, but I really love how the computer plays the game, it feels so efficient and pure so you could say I am a GTO fan.

For playing ima do 3 hours a day minimum, and more if I feel like it.

Current stakes I play is 25PLO, since I don’t much money saved up currently

About myself, I am 36 y/o from the Netherlands, love freedom, cycling and warm weather and drinking beers(and PLO but that’s obvious).

    graph so far:

    Let’s get it @robbertou !

Time to turn the negative of getting laid off into a positive and do what you love and crush the games!

Hopefully you’ll be able to do another of the things you love soon to and go enjoy the warm weather and drink beers 🙏

Best of luck and look forward to following along!

Nice start so far, is that like 30k hands? Having trouble reading it on my phone.

So after my initial good run, I decided to move up to 50PLO. I still have a lot to learn. My strategy now is revisiting preflop with the PLO Trainer, since I am still opening too tight, 3bettting too tight and also don’t play too well vs 4bets.

So next month is continuing preflop study. 2 hours per day. And also play minimum of 3 hours per day.

What I also do to not suck too much postflop is watch some play and explains, to get a general idea of how to play postflop.

Here is a graph of the first 41k hands.

<div>Since I do a lot of studying daily I thought it might be usefull to spill the results and my thoughts on it here as well.</div>

So today I did 200 preflop hands in the Trainer. Main take-aways: I don’t defend enough vs a 3bet BU vs the blinds. So against competent players I have to start calling and 4betting more aggressively.

I also did 3 videos of the 3way 3bet pots.

Main takeaways is the percentages we cbet and sizings:

on A65r we check 50%!! full pot and 1/2 cbet are split.

AKxr we cbet 100% for 1/2 psb.

AT6 is in between where we cbet 75% 1/2 psb and check 15% and 10% full pot.

A87ss we either pot or check (60% pot and 40% check) Also we do a lot of x/f with TP on that board, which surprised me.

Also what is surprising that some TP hands are 1/2 induces. I usually wanted to pot those to get folds, but that is not correct!

Also weak KKxx hands are 1/2 psb/f on AT6r, but KKQ9 is a x/fold, because of the extra eq.

Also completed my first 60k see below. Still make a ton of mistakes obviously but at least i am winning steadely. I also get around 5bb/100 rakeback which is not seen here.
