I am 64 years old and started playing Holdem during the poker boom. I am a slightly losing recreational player. I used to play exclusively NLHE tournaments but have more recently gotten interested in PLO and have read some books and had some success in low limit PLO cash games locally. Now I primarily play PLO and PLO hi lo. My vision is to become a consistent winner at low to medium stakes, and supplement my income. I also like to travel to play sometimes. Studying poker consistently has positive effects on many other aspects of my life that require discipline and self knowledge. It helps me to stay grounded and focused. I want to continue to work on myself to be the best version that I can be with the time that I have. I want to be thoroughly used up when I go. My milestone will be consistently beating plo 200 and my local games, and finding more local games that are profitable. I will gradually be cutting back on my career hours and shifting to playing more poker.
