Hi Everyone,
My name is Nick, I am 27 years old. I have been in love with poker for quite some time now and have been playing for 10 years. I started off as a losing player 10 years ago but with some dedication and studying I became profitable at live 1-2 NLH. (It was an amazing feeling) Since then I have had mixed results, I would describe myself as a small winner. I am taking this course to really push me to the next level.
I started playing PLO in 2020. The games were very juicy on private apps because of lockdown. Even though I was really bad, everyone else in the game was remarkably 10x worse. My current local live game is a 2-5 Mix game (NLH, PLO). It is very soft and I often feel like the best player on the table because people still suck at PLO. I also play 1-2, 2-4 and 5-10 PLO on Pokerbros where I am seeing mixed results and currently stuck on the year. As for online, I will be loading up Ignition where I will play .25-.5 to test my skills. When I visit my home country I play on GG and had great results at low stakes PLO.
My vision:
I am a part time poker crusher who beats his live & online games. I travel 2-3 times a year to play events.
My purpose:
I want to create sustainable cash flow through poker to fund my investments. If anything ever happens in my professional career I want to be certain I can fall back on poker full time.
Milestones:
Study every single day for at least 30 minutes
Beat 0.25-0.5 on Ignition over 75k hands

Week1 Over:
It felt great to really lock in this week and dedicate myself to this course. By studying more and I am realizing even more areas of my game I want to improve. I really made my mental game a focus this week and really tried my hardest to focus (especially during my live session)
Week 1 Results:
+2200 USD in a 2-2 Live PLO session
+250 over 2500 hands online playing 50PLO (ran below EV)
+100 from rakeback
Total: +2550 (If only every week could be like this lol)
Goals for week 2:
1. I’ve identified that I am calling off rivers too wide and it’s a leak. I want to really work with HM3 to review river call down spots
2. Be more active sharing my hands and answering others on discord.
3. Play 3k online hands this week (500 more than last)
4. Study pre-flop all week. Really look at specific spots and use the pre-flop helper for edge cases.
5. Play 3 live sessions and focus for all of them.
