    Introduce yourself

My name is Bryan. I used to be a Full time Mid – High Stakes NL Pro back in 2004 to 2007 full time, and I played part time the past few years on Chinese apps and Bovada at stakes around 2/5 up to 10/20.

Recently I have been studying self-development, I was a certified Success Principles Trainer and CHPC (Certified Hi Performance Coach) in 2021. I also took classes and graduated from Tony Robbins Mastery and Leadership programs in 2020 and 2021.

IN 2022 I’m studying yoga and meditation, and currently, I’m learning the great game of PLO, so I can play at a professional level.

For hobbies I like to play tennis, basketball work out, travel, and be outside in nature.

    Vision for poker career

“I’m a professional poker player, who travels the world, plays mid-high stakes NLH / PLO / Short Deck, cash live and online, and competes in some big buy in tourneys during the year every year”

I’m outside chilling at the jacuzzi and the pool. Then I play a little bit of online poker. Or I play in the morning and after I’m finished, I go hiking or surfing or take a walk down the beach.

I get on an airplane, and fly out to Bali, or Australia, or Las Vegas, on a moment’s notice.

All the while, I’m maintaining my mediation practice, yoga practice, staying very fit, and coaching people part time for mindfulness and Hi-Performance coaching,

Now the WSOP is here. It’s time to play a few events and go for a championship bracelet and have fun playing some live cash games.

Of course, I might have to check out some of the clubs in Las Vegas, play some tennis and do some hiking, so I have some life balance while I’m out there.

    Purpose

I play poker because it helps to generate more energy and vibrancy in my life, helps to encourage me to be even more mindful, confident, present, and engaged, and more alive and focused. The competition and love of the game makes life feel more rewarding, and I appreciate and love life even more, and I also offer my loving kindness to friends, family, the planet, and all beings.

I also enjoy travelling the world, meeting cool and interesting people, so that I might inspire or support others to have higher levels of success, focus, presence, and happiness, and become the best version of themselves.

I successfully completed D, G, and H. I cashed out on GG Poker, and going to Las Vegas in June, with 60K Bankroll, and I’m ready to play some live 5/10 PLO, and play one of those big tourneys 🙂

Feels great to win! I really worked on my psychology, energy and strategy.

To be honest, I had not had a winning month at PLO for awhile. But I was very motivated and inspired to improve, and I definitely changed my approach until I found one that would work.

For the course – PLO 10 week transformation, I’m finishing up week 6 (3 bet pots)

Congratulations on hitting your milestones. I’m curious, are you in bankroll preservation mode or are you able to take shots?

    Thanks!

I think I can be playing 2/5 and 5/10 PLO online pretty quickly once I get back to Asia, assuming I continue the momentum that I had going from the month of May.

My game improved a lot recently.

My bankroll req online is between 40 and 80 buyins.

For live, I have 60K to get started I’m pretty comfortable playing 5/10 if I can run up to 80Kor more I might take a shot at 10/20.
