Hi my friends call me Beck.
I am currently a poker dealer at a 3 game mixed game with the primary focus being PLO and Big O. Half my time at work is spent playing and the quickest way for me to increase my income is through my play. The game plays fairly large and has lots of gamble. Many times I find myself being sucked into this gamble and playing sub par hands and gambling in sub optimal positions. I believe the game is very beatable and my play is very fixable. This is my journey to achieve those two things.
My vision is as follows:
I am making a substantial part of my active income through playing PLO with a mix of live and online.
I am a consistent winning player at $1/$2 and with this I have the freedom to fund other ventures.
I look at the game of PLO as a money making venture that is taking seriously instead of as a gambling hobby.
I am calm and confident in my play therefore I am able to remove my emotions from pot outcomes and be perceived as calm influence at the table.

Hey Beck, sounds like you have access to a nice opportunity there. Definitely work on staying disciplined and as tight as you can (without losing considerable action), in multiway pots you will simply require nuttier ranges to dominate your opponent’s hands.

As Orestto mentioned sounds like a great opportunity especially if you can avoid being sucked into the heavy gambling aspect of it (whilst not losing action)
